How To Control My Mentality
YOUR THOUGHTS ARE THE RUTTER OF YOUR LIFE
The way to determine how committed we are to something or if we’ve experienced a change in any given moment is the degree to which we take immediate action when moved to do so.
I hope you can look back and say… ‘You know what, I absolutely took immediate action. I got my Business plan drawn up. I called and scheduled my test. I am in control here!’ IF NOT, don’t get down on yourself. This is all a process of learning how to be more self-disciplined and deciding how our day will go, rather than being controlled by our external forces. There is a quote I absolutely love from Jeff Levitan (one of the executive members of our company) –
“Just on the other side of ‘I don’t feel like it’, is Everything you’ve ever wanted.”

How true is that? We let small tasks or ‘feelings’ get in our way on a daily basis that keeps us from accomplishing our goals and dreams…don’t let that happen to you!
The moment you decided to change your life and join this crusade you were likely bombarded with negativity from others or yourself. You may have even experienced thoughts of doubt… a sort of ‘Buyers Remorse’. There are literally zero reasons you should be having that feeling, but it’s 100% natural.
We are all like cups of water. We have our natural, at rest internal temperatures. When you stepped into our office, it very likely puts you in front of people who are moving and shaking at a higher temperature. It’s exciting! We are going somewhere here and it’s easy to see that. The problem is, when you leave, you naturally cool back down to your ‘equilibrium’ temperature.
That temperature doesn’t move you with excitement to get out of bed early every day. It doesn’t push you to get out of your comfort zone regularly in order to grow. It does EVERYTHING it can to keep you in your ‘safe’ zone. Your ‘comfort’ zone. ‘Safety’ will not accomplish your dreams…comfort is stagnancy in life.
I challenge and encourage you to not listen to that voice and instead constantly surround yourself with people that have a higher temperature than you currently do. When you can’t BE WITH people like that, use books and audio to create a stronger mastermind alliance. Your associations have the power to shape you.

Also, download the following audio onto your phone, iPod, or whatever device you use to listen to music and/or audiobooks, and begin listening right away. When you’re in your car, be listening to this for the rest of the week, instead of listening to music. Make your trips to and from work, the grocery store, and home an opportunity to grow in your mobile university!
